  • PCM Tuning

Okay so I am trying to figure out what I should do. I want to get my PCM tuned or get a chip or something. My mods include performance tranny, shift kit, cold air intake, full exhaust, msd mistributor, msd blaster coil, heads have been done slightly, bigger tb, tb air foil, and some other things. Now any recommendation as far as what to do? I obviously want to get more performance out of it, eliminate speed limiter, eliminate rev, etc.

What should I do? Should I send in my PCM and have it tuned? Who do you reccomend?

    Thanks

I take my car to Baker Engineering in Nunica. However SB tuning is a sponser on here, I'm sure he does good work also.

you could send it to pcm4less.com i think. but honestly, i think there are better ways to spend/save up your money for (cam) because idk if you're really gonna get much out of a mail order tune. if you want a tune, take it to someone. but even then how much hp are you really gonna see? not too much more is my guess.

I went with PCM4less, but then again, the motor I'm putting in is COMPLETELY redone and I needed one that would go with the mods, additions and deletions that I've done. I've heard of tuning that will smooth out the pulse-widths, but I'm not sure as to how well it will improve power, though fuel flow balance would be improved (possibly smoother running?).
