Did you go through the troubleshooting steps that Plum Nuts gave you? You need to logically go through in an order rather than replacing tons of stuff and hoping it works. When you start doing that, then you don't know if one of the things you've done made it worse.
Check if you have fuel at the fuel rails
Check if you're getting spark at the spark plugs
Get a scan tool and scan it to see what codes it's throwing - you'll have it registering DTC codes without the engine starting, just put the key in the "ON" position.
Is it cranking at all or no cranking either? Does it start and then immediately die or not start at all? Again, I'd recommend getting something to scan the PCM and see what codes the PCM is throwing.
Edit: I went through and read all the posts again - you said that you found one loose ground, did you have all 3 grounds for that bolt?Last edited by meissen; April 23rd, 2009, 05:38 PM.- Brian Meissen

ok my next question is does it even try to start? The reason I ask this is because I had this problem after my first h/c install and it was caused by putting the coil packs on the wrong sides, it would backfire and then not start, I swapped them over the correct way and bam it fired right up.Doing less with more

OK if it's not getting spark you have two things - security system or the coils.
If you put the key in and put the key to the "ON" position does the "SECURITY" light turn on and then turn off within 3-5 seconds? If it does, then you do not have a VATS/Security system issue.
If it's not the security system, then it has to be the coils. Start at the coil packs and make sure that all the coil packs have correct power, that the output from the coil packs are right, etc.- Brian Meissen

True but a ground is a ground is a ground.Originally posted by 1BADAIR View Poston diff years the grounds aren't all on the same head. I think mine has 2 on the drivers side and 1 on the pass side- Brian Meissen
