  • Sub box question

So I'm looking at getting a 10" for my car. I want to put it in the empty space on the drivers side in the very back (don't know what its called". Anyways they make boxes for this area but they already come with a sub andI have a certain sub I'd like to get. Does anyone know of somewhere that would sell just a box? Thanks.

thats what I have to but I bought mine off ebay and it works great. They have them for both sides too. i just went with the standard one. it is a very small box tho so go to a fabric store or car audio shop and get some poly fill. It will make the box sound better. Lke having a bigger box. Dont stuff it in tho.

What do you mean don't stuff it in? What else would you do with it?

JL makes a Stealthbox for that spot as well, and it comes with a sub.

Dont want to overdo the polyfill. You want a good ammount but dont overstuff it. lol

You could always get some 3/4 MDF and build something like that with a little more custom taste to it... Yeah you can get them off ebay but I have used subthump before and I knew that they had them so thats the first place I went to get you a picture and a price. I will say tho their stuff is really high quality and its not bad priced...

On a side note B what kind of tunes are you running in red alert?

two 12" Planet Audio subs pushed by some no name amp. Custom carPC powers it. Which reminds me I did a post on LTxTech and I should bring it over here.

                          Yup go with stealth.

I bought two Kicker 10"s . Planning on doing two boxes from subthump. But only ended up doing the driver side w/a spare 10". Got my amp rack from Travis & looks pretty damn clean

Funny i was just posting about these over on another site, the stealth look is BA. But for the pasenger side you have to remove your spare tire i believe. That wouldn't be good for long trips....
