I think I am getting demoted back to just plain "pitcrew".

Where'd you get the part # from? Got any pics by chance? I searched all over today trying to find it but couldn't find it at all.

Thanks Jon! I was able to order one so hopefully it should be here soon. Since I got the AC Delco part number I was able to find somewhere else with a shorter delivery estimate than 12 days

What finally broke it was taking 1/2 inch drive socket extensions and connecting them all up so my dad could swing the hammer against the extensions outside of the car and try to drive the cable on like Mike said. Unfortunately, you just can't **** a Chihuahua with an Elephant.

Hey Brian where did you order it from? I actually would like to pick up a new one because Collins broke mine a year or so ago and rigged it up.

                        Nice!

I'll tell you what - my dad called this guy but I had already bought mine from Napa. He's in Redford and has the cable for $20. Shoot my dad a PM or call him direct - 586-207-1450 and he can give you the guy's phone number.

The one I bought from Napa: http://www.napaonline.com/NOLPPSE/(S...2012030+101995

It's a little different looking but it says it will work.
