So this is probably a stupid question but how do you go about doing this? Just spray them off with brake cleaner then paint them? Are there any brands that are better than others? Thanks

dupilcolor makes a nice kit
its about $20
comes with caliper cleaner
a pint of paint
a brush
some tape and a mixing stick

The hardest part is getting them cleaned up for the paint. You need to scuff up the paint enough to allow the paint to stick. Don't get to crazy with the decreasing spray, you don't want to wash away any grease on the caliper pins.

I get away with using high temp ceramic paint as a "primer coat" then I use regular car spray paint in a can for the color I want. Then I shoot on a few coats of clear, and polish them up a bit.

I drive my car pretty hard and I don't have any issues using regular car paint as the base color coat. If you autocross your car, it probably wont hold.

I've found that I have to touch them up once a year.

I've also used the kit..Works great. I bought the kit a few years ago and have used the same kit on the last 3 camaro/firebirds that I have owned! Usually touch up in the winter before you get her out and you'll be good. I used a fine detail brush for like model cars to get to the hard spots and a normal 1" brush from like home depot or any hardware store to do the big spots. Also get the ceramic brake pads, Helps the calipers stay looking clean and looking good.

I love G2 Caliper paint! It last longer then duplicolor but it costs a little more! $37 bucks plus shipping one kit will come with everything and is good to do all four corners!
