  • Bad 3.4..

So something under the hood of my car makes noise. Noise is belt driven. I think I have narrowed it down to the idle tensioner, seems to be moving alot.

Also wanted to see what you guys said. My battery gauge is always at 18. I have never had any problems and she always fires right up. My temp gauge doesnt work and as you can see it says I have 80 for oil pressure. Sounds like my gauges are ...broke. Is there a fuse for those?

My gas gauge works..I think. First half of the tank takes forever and the last half goes in like 20 min. Car has 204k miles and still gets about 25 mpg. Even got it to do a burnout...when it was raining.

ok for the noise get a long screwdriver put one end on the pully bolt and one on your ear and listen.
you probaly have a bad gauge cluster but it could be other problems like ground problems.

      Its your tensioner pulley.
It has a bearing in there that can go bad.

Ya, low oil and SES are always on. SES is because of the ERG.

My car prob could do the one wheel peel but I dont try. Cant afford to fix much. Too many toys.

Gas gauge sounds completely normal - our gas tanks are "V" shaped but the gas gauge reads depending on level of the tank, not truly "50%" of volume but 50% height of the tank so by the time it gets closer to empty the volume of gas left is less and it will go down fast.
