looks good, but I think it may stand out too much in the engine bay seeing as the factory underhood paint is always very dull and it probably won't match very well.

that was my impression as well. even with glossy engine bay paint it still looks out of place if the lid isnt painted to completely match. i guess i will hold off judgement until it is installed, but from most i've seen its very very hard to get it to look just right.

well everything isn't done yet but here it is,I also took off frt. bumper and cut up to take out 10lbs.also painted hood struts, powdercoated modded hinges, hood latches.replaced body bolts with (hand polished) stainless steel allen head button tops.now I'm working on fusebox delete and well you'll see the rest later.I want to tell you that the car had a $19,000 accident(3yrs ago because some a hole) and we was able to save it but its not original so now I get to play with her.some things are better like a painted engine bay and extra parts from donor car.just putting some ideas out there.

thats what I was thinking, even some firehawks with low miles can be had for that.

we bought it new and was looking at insurance invoice and it was10/03(almost 6yrs.)and it was $17,635.02 but they also paid for the transmission rebuild ($1,981.68)when we got car out for the spring and had trans problem. It was AAA and have been there since.I hate showing pictures of the work but I bring album to shows.I think the only thing worst would be seeing it in the crusher.both places helped us get the most of or insurance dollars.
