  • I hate rust so much

So while i was rewiring my sound system I removed my spare tire and Noticed
SOOOOOO much rust, So i cleaned it up, Then, I seen rust by the weather strip for the hatch thought nothing of it, i removed it, And it looked like Rust heaven. So i sanded it all down and painted the Trunk and rear of the car today.

All i have left is the driver side Now but im not touching it due to the wheel well being to deep of rust, Needs to be cut out now.

Anyways Your see what i mean in the pics.
wish i could afford a v6 body to swap over that has T-tops

Also, I finally finished the spoiler detail line, got it as close as possible
and i'm redoing my Berger panel instead of semi or flat, im going gloss black.

Not sure I went as close to possible to match it up with my color.
I got it at the auto parts.

but mine is qausar luckily this stuff blends easily.

I couldnt help but compliment you. So many people get carried away and do crap work when they try painting their own cars for cheap. I know you just did the well area, but it looks like you did a GREAT job, nice work. I take it you took your sweet time?

Actually i painted the whole trunk and rear of the car.
I had to blend the paint so it wouldn't look like a jackass did the job.

                      also
Rattle can yes, Spent about 35 dollars on sand paper, Block, primer, and paint.

but no one sees it under all the panels so i thought why not.
heres more pics with the tape off, my camera hates anything Thats slightly dark and doesnt like Reflections.

I guess the blue paint i used is called, Intense blue pearl.

The primer i bought From Lowes works really well on mostly anything.
