  • Damn Weep Hole

So my buddys came over to day to check out the TA and I start her up and pop the hood and i can feel moisture flying up at us smell it and its coolant. Immediatly shut the car off and diagnose, all heater hoses were fine, rad wasnt leaking. Jack it up and collant was all over the bottom of the water pump and all over the crank pully and a little on the opti near a plug wire. felt the weep hole and it was soaked . So a new water pump is in need. The opti looks pretty dry and i put a few rags around it in the meantime. Should i also shell out for a new opti too or just see if the old one holds. Dont really want to drop money on a new opti any opinions

if the opti is vented it will be fine if you just let it dry out. VERY good move sticking rags around it for now.
