whenever the howto says, don't quote me but i thought it said like 100 miles, you want to give the seafoam time to work, but not so long that the gunk gets sloshed around more. I seafoamed mine and then like a week later I changed the oil, but it totally depends how much you drive.-Derek-

so basically if mike n i did it we would just go for a 50 mile cruise one way and then once we get back we would change the oil

A full seafoam treatment is just as easy as an oil change. The vac line might be on there pretty tight, that's the only "hard" part about the entire thing. As long as you dump it in slow enough you wont have any problems. I didn't put any in the gas tank just because I didn't see how it would be any more effective than regular old injector cleaner (and it's a hell of a lot more expensive).
