Not that easy on a fourth gen, lol. There is a big object with two rubber things on each end in the way of simply dropping the tankOriginally posted by craig62989 View Postdisconnect the tank straps and swing it down and tip the neck down.

oh yea oops forgot about that being a 4th gen XD
edit: you can get one of those drill pumps or hand pump and tilt the car towards the neck and feed the tube in and drain it that way.Last edited by craig62989; March 16th, 2009, 02:46 PM.

i would find it hard to belive a clogged filter would give you 0psi if it worked before check all the connections and wires at the fuel pump and pcm. check anything you disconnected.sigpic

I put 2 gallons of gas in it cuz I was thinking maybe the gas gauge is broke. Now it is at 3/4th of a tank. I took off the fuel filter and gas drained from ends. Then I connected the battery and turn the key to see if gas would flow. There is no change in the drip. I check the fuse and it was good even switched it with the horn fuse (same amps) and nothing. What do the fuel pump relay do. Could that be bad? I checked for unconnected wires but everthing was hooked up. There is a vacuum the driver side that i don't know where it goes because it is broken and it don't show up on any diagram I can find. I track it back and the acc. vac from the pass. side of the car but I don't know what it is suppose to connect to. Could that be the problem. Before I tried all of this I did spray it with starter fluid and it started running for about one sec. sprayed it again and it started again for about a sec or two. Any other suggestions? I really don't want to install a fuel pump. What else could it be?

well good work so far! you pretty much proved its gas flow problem. The next thing I would do is find the plug very near the tank and check for voltage when key turned on. If you have +12 there then all the other stuff is good. If you don't then you need to work towards relay etc inbetween fuse and plug. At that point you need a wiring diagram to see whats all there. I remember that the pcm picks the relay, the relay supplys the 12v.sigpic

I tested the wires at the pump and there was power. It only lit up for two seconds when the key was first turned on. So this means that it must be the pump. Right? Thats what I think it is so I used the back door trap method to get to the pump. I did not feel like taking out the hole rear end. I the hole is cut and I am just waiting on the pump to get here.
Question: Has anybody ever heard of or used a fuel pump by the Python Injection.
I order one from directauto.com for $57 plus $20 core and $8 shipping. It was a reman with a lifetime warranty. I know that is cheap but I could not find any complaints on the company when I did a search. I will let everyone know when it come in.
