Heres the story. I've been having idle surge for the last month. It only occurs when the engine is warm and driven around for a while. Never happens while idling cold. Also no surge while driving. So far ive replaced all vac lines and today i replaced my IAC and cleaned my TB and put a new TB gasket on it new o ring on the IAC and i took it out for a drive today and same prob. Got home and wiggled the TPS connector and got a lil jump out of the motor. Could this be a bad TPS. I scanned it for codes and ive got nothing so im bangin my head here

Use your scan tool to watch tps voltage while you wiggle the connector. It can have tps issues without setting a code. Map and maf can screw with idle too. An air leak between the maf and tb will cause goofy issues. You can disconnect the maf while it is doing it to see if that changes anything.98 TA M6
