I should really know this by now having removed almost every 4th gen variation of Kmember

Is there anything preventing any 4th gen cradle, engine, etc from going to another 4th gen that came with a different cradle etc

(IE will a '96 3.8 K & engine go into basically any 4th gen body without problems?)

any 4th gen cradle will go into ANY 4th gen camaro v6 or v8 the difference is the width of the engine mounts on the cradle that prevent the v8 to go on a v6 cradle

Just for clarification - You mean any v6 Kframe from a 4th gen will work on any other v6 4th gen, right? In other words, my v6 kframe definitely would not work with an LT1. Atleast, that's how I understood it. V6 to v6, v8 to v8, but any year works. 93 v6 to 2002 v6.

the V6 Kframe will bolt onto a V8 camaro if you wanted to.

But what i said is the Kframe Does NOT MATTER body wise, IT DOES MATTER MOTOR WISE...

You can use ANY 4th gen subframe on and 4th gen v6 or v8. But you HAVE TO USE v8 frame for a v8 motor or a V6 frame for a v6 motor.

I'm not sure If the LT1 and LS1 engine mounts are different Widths you will have to ask someone on that...

yep the only difference is the position of motor mounts between v6 and v8 k frames.

cant swap a 3.8 into a 3.4 camaro w/o swapping K members
