Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Looking to get a nice Y pipe and delete the cats to complete my exhast. Already have BBK headers and magnaflow 3'' cat back. Any recommendations on where to get/order a Y pipe that will fit a 97 Z28(Lt1)? Also, will getting rid of the cats make that much of a difference, or just some check engine light trouble?
Justin, my advice is to check with AutoMasters and see if they can help?
Or see if CS3 can help ya?

I can get you a Hooker off road y, but I dont know how that would line up with your BBK headers. I looked through the BBK part numbers and didnt see any y-pipes listed for our cars.

I would like to get a aftermarket Y pipe for better flow, but I can't seem to find one that will bolt up to my headers either. Any advice on the cat delete? I will keep looking for a new Y pipe. Anyone finds one, let me know.
yea you will have a ses light you can tune it out or get sims. but i heard sims go bad alot so i would get it tune out or just deal. other than that no other problems should arise
I will be getting my car tuned by Steve from SBTuning when I am finally able to pull my car out and start working on it. So that's good to know that I can just tune them out. I am not sure whether the headers are shorts or mids. I know they are 1 5/8 tubing, ceramic coated. I will try and find out.
