well yesterday i finally got around to puting my blue taylor wires on, drove around for a bit and smelled some plastic, so i pulled over and the wire loom that i put around it was starting to melt so i parked it, then this morning i re routed them, started it up and it ran like a champ, so i shut it off and zip tied all the wires so they couldnt melt, started it up and one cylindar wasnt fireing. i know what it feels/sounds like when that happens cuz i had a wire burn before.

so i checked all the wires and pulled a couple off of the left side (cuz thats the side i think its happening on because that side is shaking more than the other)
and the wires broke. so took my happy a$$ to autozone and picked up some of there 16 dollar wires put them all on and still nothing.

im thinking i cracked a plug. what do you guys think? also i need to know what plugs would be the best for my car A.S.A.P

thanks in advance for the help guys

please excuse my spelling... i went to a cathlic school.

I would go with the Autolite Double Platinums, they seem to sell the best at my work. Also worth trying are the Bosch single platinums, not the platinum +2, +4, etc. They are just plugs in the end, and I think Autolite is the way I would go. . . Also, for wires, I would use Accel wires, we have run them in every high-performance car we have owned, and I have no complaints. Hope this helps!

We use Taylor custom fit wires with looms.

As for plugs, AC Delco baby. Can't beat 'em...

ya if you have a performance car you need better stuff. Obviously your car isn't performance, ACDelco is the best "regular" plug around, and I run MSD stuff over any other company.

And another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.

Stock ignition components in a GM car are the best money can buy because of emissions. Get AC-Delco.

Copper plugs are the BEST for performance hands down, end of discussion. There's no debating it.

Platinum plugs are simply used to extend maintainance intervals. They last damn near forever but they function nearly identical to a glow plug. Very bad for detonation.

Iridiums are a good compromise but the coppers still beat them out for solid performance.

I'd say brand isn't too big a deal just make sure they are copper.
