Like I said the other day my ses came on and I was going to go to autozone to check it out. Well just like what happened last year it turned off so I was like ok whatever. Well it turned on again today while I was getting lunch, so i go after school to autozone to get a diagnostic. The guy is like start your car and when I started it the light was gone. He still did the test and said it was a pedal position sensor the code is p0122. Is this sesor on the throttle body or what because there are 2 on the throttle body and I'm not sure what it is. Also what exactly does it do.

only electronic throttle cars have a pedal position sensor.(corvette, 04 gto's, trucks)
yours would be throttle position sensor.( hooked to the shaft the throttle cable is on-drivers side of the TB)
code p0122 is throttle position sensor ciruit low.
Do you have a cam and have tried to change the idle??
If you had a scanner you can monitor tb voltage.
Try unplugging the sensor. Turn the key one for 30 sec. turn it off for 30 sec and turn the key back on. Then plug the sensor back in. and turn the key on again.
This will relearn the TPS 0% position and may fix your issue.
You might have to disconnect the batt afterwards to get the light to go out though(or have autozone clear the code again)Last edited by 1BADAIR; April 13th, 2006, 08:04 PM.
