LT1/ignition problem Question MY friends transam

He sent me a Email Asking if i could help, I have noooo clue.

Here's what he asked
Car has NO emissions


My car stopped starting just from me parking it, I ran a scan on it and the code that came up was "Ignition Problem Elec spark control (EST) open circuit" but all of my plugs are where they should be....and my opti is a GM with 273 miles on it.
Any ideas?

yea make sure your actually gettin a spark. That car looks familiar was that Adams old car?
