Well my problem is the radiator fans will not turn on, tested the fan motors and they work. I tried running the A/C on high and still no power to the wires feeding them, tested the ground and its good. Tried to jump terminals 5 & 6 on the DLC and still nothing. Checked fuses and relays and they are good. Could it be the engine temperature sensor? How do I test it? What else would cause them not to turn on?

yeah I remember mine not coming on until around 180-210
check your fuse if you haven't already its the #7 A/P Fan Fuse which runs the relays...and Fusable link C (above right shock tower) is actual power source for the motors.
the PCM and 2 temp sensors, one for the gauge (driverside of engine) and one for the fans that control everything. could be a pcm at worst, more then likely the engine coolant (front of engine)temp sensor is bad.
if you want them to come on whenever, just wire in a switch to the relay. hook one side to ground the other to the dark green wire (- trigger for the Left fan.. dark blue for the right) and it simulates the PCM turning them on. you can access the wiring by sliding the electrical box out from the brackets.Last edited by SlyStoner421; November 10th, 2008, 05:50 PM.99 Grand Prix GT - Winter Ride
