No, you have small changes here and there.

    LT-1's changed 3 times from 93-97.
I'm sure LS cars had changes in them from cams, transmission and what not.

sorry i have 97 vette motor and i am wondering if a 98 trans am or camaro will work. the 97 was the first to have the ls1 in it so i was thinking that a 98 would work.

        I'm not sure about that??

It will matter if the computer is for an M-6 or an Auto.
There might be a few little things but I couldn't be sure about that.

the 98's are differant than 99+. a 97 and 98 may work together
you will have to change the fuel rail on that engine to put it in a F-body unless you use v6 fuel return lines
