94 T/A stored for 7 years

A driver at work owns this car, it was originally owned by the owner of our company who spends TONS of cash without blinking, (example he bought a H2 for a 60k write off for taxes only drove it about 1/4 of the time that he owned it) I will tell you all I was told and you guys tell me what you think its worth.. It is for sale..

94 T/A new tires, was told the motor was pulled out years ago and sent to CA and modded alot heard its a pretty nasty car performance wise-possibly Liggenfelter but not 100% on it yet- NOS.

Ok now the bad.. busted up front bumper, some fried wiring somewhere, the owner is not sure where exactly, been sitting in a storage unit for 7 years, not been started or moved in that time.

I have been talking to this guy for almost a year about it, he keeps telling me to make an offer on it.. I have not seen it in person or pics of it.

Now not sure about you guys but if someone tells me about a vehicle and wants an offer but I cannot see it, hear it run, or drive it I always lowball an offer cause we can always go from there.

the problem with seeing it is I cannot get his schedule and mine together, he works days I work nights..

I offered 1500 to start and he said he would take 15k... I laughed, cause I know he bought it in 96 for 17k..

I just cannot believe peoples idea of whats worth something.. I said when he wanted to be more realistic to let me know, otherwise its gonna rot where it sits..

HERE is the kicker, I found out this week from the brother of the owner of the car that he almost lost it for not paying his storage bill...how stupid is that?

I agree.. so total teardown would be in order, along with inspecting EVERYTHING with a fine tooth comb, and he wants 15k, WTF...

sad part is he really thinks this and won't show anyone the car till they have proof they have cash.. stupid

just got an update on the car. the guy apologized to me for his actions and words and said I was VERY justified in the offer I made..

He also told me the heads and intake WERE done by Ligenfelter.

But he and I talked for 35 mins and I explained alot of stuff to him, he was very unhappy when we were done and said I sounded like I knew what I was talking about. He also had a person stop by his house and offer him 500 bucks for all his stuff in that unit where the car is stored.. which is more than just the car.. He said he felt stupid cause he almost took it..

I explained if he decided to sell it let me know and we could go check it out and see, but my offer would not go up or down till I saw it and then could likely go down more than up..

He said he understood.
