I always thought it was obvious that the 4th gen Camaros had the rear ends of a Mazda MX-3 (from the old Opel style) and the LS1 had the front end of a Concorde - why did you think Chebby conceded to naming their Camaro gray color SEBRING Silver?
Rear by Mazda MX-3:

OR, for that "customized camaro" crowd:

Front by Daimler Concorde:
Not like it's a big surprise, Chebby has never had an original design. After Pontiac developed the cool prototype Banshee in the 60's, which was shifted to the prototype Firebird, Chevy then forced them to use the Camaro body for the first 1/2 year of Firebird, and Chevy took the banshee/firebird nose to use as the Corvette nose, lasting about 15 years. Then in 84 the Corvette was being changed, so they again took the nose from the new '82 Firebird. And again when Pontiac developed the Banshee in the mid-80's and put that nose on the last years of the 3rd gen Firebirds, Corvette needed to copy that also for the C4. When GM finally put a stop to all that creative styling by ending the Pontiac Firebird (F-Bodies), the Vette team was cluelessly unoriginal again, so just copied the nose from some euro cars - what is that, the porsche/viper/celica nose now? And, of course this is what Chevy's flagship Corvette does, so all other Chevy models are understandably pedestrian in styling. Straight, flat sheetmetal, coool.Originally posted by greenmachine

lol ahh its not chevys fault... they just wanted a simple car that spoke to people... too bad the other 300 kids in that design class copied off the same person... then went all over the world... just give into the pontiac.. it maybe a little edgy, might even frighten you a bit... but you will get use to it.. say it with me
s-t-y-l-e.... was that so hard lol j/kOriginally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.
