lt1 vs ls1

I think the LT1 front end just looks dated. I love third gens but I think an LT1 4th gen is just a revamped 3rd gen by the looks. I can't take those sealed beam headlights.

nothing looks sexier from the front than a LT1 SS, or a LT1 with a aftermarket hood, the LS1 front looks like sad and droopy the LT1 looks like it wants to eat your children!

I chose LT1, because they look meaner, more aerodynamic, and they are just so much cheaper to buy than an LS1! Plus, I always liked the 3rd gens, and the LT1 4th gens are more powerful, better handling, and just flat out reminiscent of Camaros of the past. . . What generation camaro didn't have sealed beams from the factory? LS1 4th gens. . . They were breaking away from tradition. Now, a LT1 car with an LS1 motor swap and a ton of mods, now you've peaked my interest. lol

i dont understand what some peoples gripe with sealed beam is. they dont bother me at all, in fact id prefer them to bubble headlights. again, as far as looks go. obviously i dont want to see them on a fifth gen camaro as they are dated, but that doesnt mean they cant look good IMO.

acctually the 3rd gen handles better atleast compared to almost ever car and driver style magazine that compares them... 4th gens have bad understeer although the coil over setup is a bonus the tryed to meet standards at the time giving it a more soft ride and not so aggresive handling for safety reasons, not that you cant fix that on a 4th gen, but you can swap coil over kit onto a 3rd gen for 1000 bucks and really slay it... although the lt1 motor is the one that broke away from the crappy smog style motor giving it the go it needs. id say 3rd gen with an ls motor would be a little more fun...lol

You know everyone who has the LT1 style is going to vote LT1 and everyone with the LS1 style is going to vote that.... so what's the point? They're just voting for what they have.

Ive never really liked the LT1 style compared to the LS1 style because its like a third gen that got smashed down to be 2inches tall and then made pointy.

But... the LS1 front end doesnt even hold a candle to the LS1 Trans Am/WS6. Thats the best of all of 'em, even better then the third gen GTA style
