  • ? on shocks????

i lowerd my car this past winter and put in monro sensatrack in the back.. well i keep hitting my wheels on the pass. side. i put in blocks to keep the car from going anylower. the ride was not half bad even drove to detroit and back smoothly, well the next day i took 69 and blew apart the blocks (freakin crappy rd). anyway what would be a good stiff shock to use. thought about kyb's but not sure if they are stiff enough. what is a good shock please.

I have QA1's in the front and rear.. Not so happy with the fronts, but have no issues with the rears.. Set them soft or so damn hard it rattles your teeth going down the road or of course somewhere inbetween..lol I usually set mine at 5 for street driving.. My car is lowered too..

      qa1's, what do thay run.

my biggest problem i can figure the initial bounce drops the car then the shocks harden up, i need that to start.

Call or go to strano.com and he will help you out, but nothing is cheap. The monroes have a dead spot before the resistance starts and that is probably why you are hitting. He sells revalved Bilsteins that are great.

qa1's are prolly what your not looking for, they are more for drag

i had the edlebrock ias's in the rear the whole time worked great with my pro kit, its a autosenseing shock

im selling mine cheap in the fs section cause im going to a drag setup in the rear

They work great for me on the street and track, the rears anyway. The fronts on the other hand are def drag only, they suck on the street, I drag my headers all the time..

o no doubt they are streetable but some people cant handle them lol

my fronts suck i havent scrapped my headers much only when i was trying to get the wheels off the ground on woodward

but my front lower air reflector piece the black part is maybe 2in offf the ground and that scrapes.

i have the 275 springs i need something a lil more but that will come this winter
