I think ur alternator is takin a crap. It slows when ur engine slow therefore it doesn't make as much power. Take it to ur local autozone and they will test it for you.

Yup, sounds like the alternator is bad. It was actually kinda funny -- when I installed my new gauge cluster it kept saying "Check Gauges" and it was driving me nuts because I knew we had everything connected correctly. Turns out the "Check Gauges" light on the 97+ gauge cluster turns on when your alternator is bad. I went to Murrays and on the way my voltage spiked to 18+ and then everything started blinking and going crazy. Thankfully Murrays is only a mile away from my house (including the drive through the subdivision) and I got a new alternator. Installed the new alt and the "Check Gauges" light turned off and everything worked great again.

Mine does the same thing, but its a new alternator, I replaced it last year. But I know I have electrical issues, so I am hoping its just a missing ground somewhere and not the alt taking a crap after one year. Driving its around 13 volts but at idle it sometimes fluxuates from 10 volts to 13 volts, Sometimes if I tap on the guage it moves up and down alittle too.
              Yeah for electrical...

Mine did that too, but very, very sporadically.

I think the regulator is part of the alternator? I would say you have a wiring issue, check the grounds and wires going to/from the battery/alternator.

As far as I know, the regulator is part of the alternator...

                            Since about 1970...lol...

Another possibility is a bad battery cable...had the negative cable go once...

hum well not sure how you change battery cables since there wired in the car system.. ? not sure if that's easy thing to do , also been looking at if it's an easy thing to replace the cables just moving the battery to the back instead of up front.. seen the kit for like 40$
