  • Where should #1 cylinder be on a 3.4L

This may be a real dumb question, but where the heck is the number 1 cylinder on a 3.4L.

On my V8s they have always been driver side front most cylinder.

But on this 94 Firebird the coil pack indicates that driver side is even numbers and the passenger side is the odd numbers.
So accourding to how it is currently wired, #1 is passenger side front most.

    This seems odd to me.
If someone here knows for sure, could you tell me.

    Thanks,
