  • Disconnected battery, now I have a problem

All, this may be a dumb question, but on my 1994 Firebird I just disconnected the battery for the first time. Now that I reconnected it I have a problem.

The headlights are opening and closing over and over like an alarm went off. I don't think the horn works, or I would hear that too I am guessing.

Anyone have a clue what this could be, and how I might be able to fix it?

    Thanks,

Sounds like maybe the battery is dead. I have had a vehicle continue to try and engage the starter after I shut it off because the battery was dead.

The previous owner had a 1/2 connected car alarm on it.

I read an article and tried what it said and that seems to have fixed it.
              Basically I connected the battery.
Then turned the ignition to run, and then flipped a switch under the dash and that turned it off.
