Yeah I found their thread too when I was looking up the Stock LT1 Heads/Cam sticky.

Oh man, this is painful. I've exchanged a few PM's back and forth with Sean about their site since I was offering to help them get back up and running. In further researching 1and1.com's hosting packages, all of their package's database limits are set to 100mb.

In comparison - our "post" table (just ONE table, which a database is made up of many...) is 121mb.

In summary, yes. I used to use 1and1 back in the day and their account cancellation leaves much to be desired. I ended up having a lawyer send a collection claim against me a few years after I stopped using 1and1 and they tried to say I owed X dollars. Thankfully my dad still had copies of all the documentation and we were able to say "Uh, no, we canceled properly... 1and1 effed up."

lol, yeah I saw that on LS1tech. Any clue as to when they will be up and running again?

If they have to get a new server and have to transfer everything - probably won't be online till monday.

• 24 hour turn around to order a new server
• Download all of the files from 1and1 (couple hours at most)
• Upload all the files from 1and1 (couple hours at most)
• Set up database on new server to mirror settings on 1and1 (hour or so)
• Download entire database (about 165mb) from 1and1 (couple hours)
• Upload entire database to new server (couple hours)
• Transfer DNS settings (about 24 hour turn around)

Yeah, just make sure you don't upload attachments. He's still trying to get that back. He asked for help but I told them (unfortunately) the only real way to help would be if they gave me full access to their server.
