The founder co-founded LS1tech and it had a lot of backing from the user base in the LT1 section over there.

Any idea why he started a new site? Did something go awry at LS1tech?

demand for a fresh site i would say and having the backing to do it. There was thread complaining about the old LT1tech going under and i never even bothered signing up there. The LT1community has just been a section on cz28 and LS1tech as long as i can remember. For example when i try to find tuning information, all i usually find is LS1 stuff

So this will create two distinct forums...one for LS1s and one for LT1s?

It's a valid point, Shizzy. When I started the site, I had no intentions of it being technical. It was purely meant to be a social hangout, but as we progressed everyone wanted to have more technical forums.

I honestly think that if people ask a question in the Technical section, generally speaking, that they usually get some input one way or another for help. There's a ton of knowledgeable people on here, so there's no reason why they can't get an answer or a link to another site with an answer.

The fighting part, though, worries me as I didn't think that people fight on here that much. We've had spurts, but it seems like it's been a long time since we've had any "fights" or arguments where anyone is at eachother's throats.

its not ppl fightin its more ppl always thinking there right and dont get me wrong im not sayin the ppl are wrong but everyones wrong sometimes n for example im readin the b4c camaro for sale thread n ppl are argueing about whats on the mans car its his car let him tell you instead of everyone thinkin they know n providing false information... i know the forum is supposed to b help from everyone its just doesnt always work out that way...

Yeah, unfortunately there's some people in here that have really strong feelings about their knowledge, what they think they know, or what they think is right. I don't think those people realize what a detriment to the entire site their arrogant attitudes can be. But, the biggest thing to remember is that if you think it's bad on here, just wait till you really start reading the technical forums on other sites where they constantly argue about stuff.

argueing about technical stuff has a purpose and that is getting the best result.
