  • Best heads for the LT1?

Just wondering what some of you have to say about some heads. I've been looking at Dart's myself.

Well what is "best" is always just going to be opinion.

AFR and TFS are always going to be at the top along with a few others.

Can't go wrong with Darts, they're local. AFR typically has a wait period but great heads for sure. I donno anything about Trick Flow but, a lot of mustang guys running 'em. Another choice might be Patriot heads.

All depends on cube, cam & what the car is used for.

yep, especially the cube with the various displacement combustion chambers.

There is a high likelihood i would choose AI ported stockers, but i havent really looked into what AFR and everyone else offers. People do make good numbers with stock castings though.
