I just data logged my car and found the throttle position only goes to 82% using the gas pedal, but I can get 100% by doing it manually at the throttle body to the bumpstop? is there a pedal adjustment to give me wot from the pedal?

Hmm, Interesting, I have no idea if you can adjust the gas pedal.
Perhaps the throttle cable can be adjusted/

I have the shaner S3 throttle body with the bumpstop mod so it does travel 0-100% when moved by hand, the floormat is not under the pedal. I cannot see the cable being loose either so 0-82% is all I have as stock movement. These handheld data loggers are cool, until you find something you didn't know about like this.8-OsigpicMODS: SLP DUAL/DUAL EXHAUST, 160 STAT, MTI LID, SHANER S3 T.B., SMOOTH BELLOWS, DESCREENED MAF, TUNNEL BRACE, UMI SFC & PHB, STRANO SWAY BARS, DRILLED/SLOTTED ROTORS, WHISTLER LIGHTS, BLACK BILLET GRILLE w/69'SS EMBLEM, BLACK SMOOTHED TAIL PANEL w/69'SS EMBLEM, BLACK SS HOOD INSERT, INTIMIDATOR SS WHEELS.

try pushing down on the pedal at the very top of the pedal instad of the bottom like most people
the top of the pedal being pushed makes the actual gas pedal pivit upwards away from the floor so it would look like it oculd be pushed down more
somethign i noticed but dunno if it'll change anythingsigpic

Solved!
I figured it out in the garage last night. The cable goes from the throttle body back over to a in-line coupler and then to the bosch box near the battery (traction control?). 2 other cables are there also, 1 from the pedal and 1 for the cruise control. Anyway, the throttle body cable was bindind/flexing in the in-line coupler because it was loose! It is a pinch style with threads inside to clamp the cable in place, so by moving the cable back out and pinching it closed tight the throttle now goes 0-100%. This cable coupler is a black plastic piece above the intake and passenger valve cover on my 2000 SS A4 with all options so other cars/years may be different. I have no idea how long this could have been like this but glad I had a data logger to show me, the throttle body was almost a 1/2" from the bump-stop8-O. Time to go see my new found HP in action.Last edited by SSTODD; September 10th, 2008, 05:30 AM.sigpicMODS: SLP DUAL/DUAL EXHAUST, 160 STAT, MTI LID, SHANER S3 T.B., SMOOTH BELLOWS, DESCREENED MAF, TUNNEL BRACE, UMI SFC & PHB, STRANO SWAY BARS, DRILLED/SLOTTED ROTORS, WHISTLER LIGHTS, BLACK BILLET GRILLE w/69'SS EMBLEM, BLACK SMOOTHED TAIL PANEL w/69'SS EMBLEM, BLACK SS HOOD INSERT, INTIMIDATOR SS WHEELS.
