COMP OE-R lifters, question

I have the Comp OE-R lifters in my new engine and they seem kind of loud as if they need to be tightened done some or something. Is this common for these lifters? I heard they were noisier than the OE ones but just want to make sure they are alright and that I don't have to tear the engine open and tighten them down some more.

Anyone have any experience with them?

they recommend only .004-.010" preload. <virtually NOTHING
where as most are like .060-.100


comp 850-16's seem to be a much better lifter
