Well, after working for nearly 12 hours with lots of beer and pizza breaks, I finally got the new valvesprings installed in my Formula. My girl and my buddy Bob helped out a lot. (Yes, I got lots of pics of her wrenching on the car, lol) Found 3 of the old ones had broken inner dampers and signs the dampers were working their way between the coils of the main springs, so I am glad I was able to change them out. It's amazing how much more I can hear the valvetrain with the new springs. I'm pretty sure they have a lot more seat pressure than what I took off. Now it's back to breaking in my transmission and hopefully hitting the track next week to get some new times. Have a tuned PCM from PCMforless sitting on the counter here waiting to go in - going to swap it at the track to see exactly how much I gain with it.

Here's some pics - my normal photo host won't work, so I had to use this one. Last time it was screwy, so Brian may have to fix this as well. Ally got right in there and installed the rocker pedestals and rockers, as well as the valve covers. I didn't help her at all - I just gave her instructions. This girl has NEVER worked on a car prior to meeting me. She did pretty damn good!

I also found that my MAF was FILTHY. Cleaned it off but haven't ran it again yet. Last time I had a dirty MAF in my old caprice, it picked up a LOT of power. Still need to adjust my rev limiter - It's just not right.
