the dealer should be able to b/c if they have to put a new gauge cluster in they would have to do the same thing. unless they do it at the factory.
or it may be in the pcm or bcm and you don't have to do a thingsigpic

All the bolts will work but the plug to plug the new gauge cluster in won't match. You'll have to buy a small part from gmpartsdirect.com and then rewire the gauge cluster. I also had to extend the gauge cluster's wiring 15 inches to make it reach (15 was more than enough and gives me tons of slack).Originally posted by Camaroz2894 View Posthey i know some people in here did the dash swap from 93-97 well i have 94 and bought 97 dash everything seems to be there with exception of few... i was wondering you guys could help me out on what i'm missing??... and if all my bolts will work?? i'll have pics either tonight or tomarrow, pics always helpful... also was wondering if th dealer can flash my new speedo with my milage?
You'll need the dealer to flash the gauge cluster so it'll read the correct milage, but if it's a v6 to v6 or v8 to v8 cluster then the speedometer recalibrates itself automatically. My speedo was 5mph from the larger tire/rim combo and this gauge cluster is dead on perfect.
Edit: This was a good site for reference. It gives the part # for the gauge cluster part and it also has the wiring diagrams to rewire the gauge cluster's harness. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/345879/3Last edited by meissen; July 20th, 2008, 09:36 AM.- Brian Meissen
