  • ??random e.a.s. electrical system fault??

ok so i got a 94 firebird formula...bored and stroked the motor, new intake, headers, injectors, and a few other goodies....had the computer re-mapped for all the stuff mentioned. i fire up the car i nthe morning...let it warm up...and it runs perfect for a while...later on after driving it for a little bit...check engine light comes on (checked code right after light came on and reader says its an e.a.s. electrical system fault) and engine runs a little strange...feels like its missing a little...o2 sensors read lean, and once in a while engine stays at 1500rpm...i clutch it and it stays...i put it in 4th gear..and she wants to stay at 35mph.... i shut the car off and immediatly re-start it...and it runs fine for about 20 min then does the same stuff.... any ideas anybody?? summit racing's stumped along with multiple other performance shops... any help would be excelent... thanks!

chilton's says that code 29 is a secondary air injection fault...chilton's code list mentions nothing about an eas electrical fault...

so i found an issue with the wiring going to the AIR pump...fixed that and found a blown relay and fuse for that system...also fixed that...no more check engine light...and so far she aint acting weird anymore....
