  • Something isnt right

Well, got my wideband installed yesterday, at idle its at 16.0 when im in the gas it fluctuates all over the place, down to 10.4 or something. I don't think it's lean, because when we pulled the y pipe off to put the bung in for the wideband, it was carboned up a bit. Also, when I get on it, it breaks up pretty much through the whole RPM range (I'm guessing fouled plugs) and after I've got on it a few times it starts to get better but still isnt right. Any ideas on this stuff?

we had a car that we built a motor at school but the carb was too big for it a 350 that needed only a 600 cfm carb had a 750 and it was washing the cylinder walls with gas cause it was so rich it was thinning out the oil all the time, do you have this prob?

I wouldnt say it's running that rich. We pulled one plug out and it was pretty black so we'll probably change them out and see what happens. Any reccomendations for gap?

14.7 is good for cruise. WOT is normally around 13.0
