  • dim odometer lights

    just wondering if there is a fix or if anything is really wrong. my odometer lights are very dim with the headlights on, almost like ive got the dimmer switch down. doesnt seem like its missing any lights, just very dim. i can barely see them during the day if the lights are on. thanks

      turn the dimmer switch up, lol. Your alternator isn't failing is it? Only thing that I can think of

        x2...your alternator may be on it's way out.

        Start turning everything on...A/C...rear defog...brights...stereo...run the windows up and down...

        If it keeps getting dimmer, it's likely the alternator.

            do what 81DaytonaPaceCar says, turn your bright lights on, dome light, radio, a/c and run the windows up and down. If your gage goes below 13 volts then your alternator is crapping out on you. vbmenu_register("postmenu_309820", true);
