As a matter of fact, I'm working on that one myself. My compressor's connector and guts came right out the top of the compressor, sooooo, no more compressor. Anyway, I've got a grooved idler pulley that I'm going to try to swap with the smooth one that sits between the compressor and the alternator and find a belt small enough to keep the tension between the crank and the new pulley, then I'm removing the a/c compressor, lines, accumulator, etc. all together. This may wait till spring, but I figured I'd throw the idea I had. No thread-jacking intended.sigpic
