Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
It means that you don't have abs anymore. Just regular brakes, So you will have to pump the brakes yourself if you have to stop hard so your brakes won't lock up. You will have to get the vehicle scanned. Only the large scan tools read abs systems Because there are about 7 or 8 diiferent abs systems being used by the automoaker right now.
So get the vehicle scanned and the abs trouble code will tell you where the fault is.
It probably means you have a wheel bearing going bad, but I would have it scanned, autozone/advance cant read ABS/Traction control modules, so maybe some other shop or dealer local to you.
just takr the relay or fuse out under hood. abs is a jokeee. i can lock em up without abs and be fine. iv almost been in 3 accidents when abs goes out and get 0 braking power.
yeah my ABS INOP light comes up shortly after start... it doesnt work whether the light is on or not... and i havent pulled my fuse but i need to because when the module tests (one time at any given point) it pushes my foot off the brake, and yeah you cant stop at all because it thinks a wheel is locked up... thats why im led to believe its a wheel sensor...
