not sure where the u joints are located ? an also how you know if there bad?

U joints hold your driveshaft in place. Lol one good way to tell if they are bad is if your driveshaft is laying on the groundBoosted AND all wheel drive.

your u-joints are located at the front and rear of the driveshaft - connecting the transmission to the rearend - if bad they will normally make a clunk/clink noise when going from drive to reverse and back
