Update. Put a mechanical gauge on it and have about 20 psi at a stop sign when warmed up, where it shows 0 on my dash cluster. I'm relieved to say the least.

stock oil cooler? if so get rid of it its nothin but problems. I removed them off both my cars and noticed a huge increase in oil P... A real oil cooler does not use coolant.

20 psi in a fresh engine with a high pressure spring is weak. If you really had 0 oil pressure, the tappets & bearings would be pretty noisy....that is up until the time the bottom end bearings welded themselved to the crank.

actualy a cooler that uses coolent does a much better job. this goes for oil and trans. you can transfer heat much better with a liquid than air.

20 is a bit on the low side but still in range - i would recommend changing out the oil for 10/40 and recheck your readings
