Well the title pretty much sums it up, we pulled the pan because it was at 0, put a stiffer spring in it, and put some VR1 20W-50 in it, it was good for about a day. Any ideas on what could be messed up would be greatly appreciated.

yeah is it the dash guage that says that or is it an aftermarket guage?
cut your old filter apart and check for shavings or anything out of the ordinary..
when i spun the mains in my car at less then 125 miles it didn;t have any shavings in the pan that wouldcome out when i changed the oil... it was fine for the first like 10 miles and then oil pressure went backto nothing..
my guess is if your still using the stock guage then it may be the guage but if not i think u may have spun a bearing
