Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I am looking at buying a set of rims in the next couple weeks. Wondering what size I can go with. i am looking at 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5, I asume these will be ok. Also what would you suggest for tires. I dont realy race mostly for street use but i want them to grip a little. mainly looking to keep my costs down. i will prob by some zo6 replica wheels. Thanks all.
275/40/17's on the front and 295 or 305/30/18's on the rear. 315's are a bit wide for a 10.5" rim. They're usually recommended on an 11" rim or wider.

Unless you have a LOT of power, 17x9.5 will be perfectly fine on all 4 corners. Heck, the GMPP LS7 Camaro is running the exact wheels I have (solid black 17x9.5 C5 Z06), and that thing has over 500 hp. Staying away from the 18x10.5 stagger will also keep the cost down since the bigger tire is more expensive than the 275/40x17 that would go on the 17x9.5. Hope this helped!
But wider tires on the back just look more badass!!! I was going to go 17x11's in the rear with my ZR1's till I put the 18's on. They only came in 9.5" so no real wide tires in the back for me. I have been considering 295's when it comes time to replace them since they will fit on a 9.5" rim.
