its a piece that fits in those slots some how it fell out of the handle long ago and i'm not sure how it goes baack in can someone look at theres and maybe tell me which way?

well yea pretty much.. the driver side door the nutz that hold the damn handle got loose enough to fall off and the door handle came right off... as for the clip, i notice that long ago and never put it back on.. i only have the one, but i dont even know what it does i just wanted it back in there
