The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. Ordered my PCM from pcmforless.com today! I had them do it for the 3.42's im swaping in wednesday, remove the cat code, and quicken the shifts, I left everything else at stock/tuners preference. I still have a day(ish) to change anything, can anyone recomend anything else?
Is there anything I have to do once I get the pcm in the car?
hmm, i cannot imagine there is anything you will have to do considering the PCM basically tells everything else what to do, im sure someone in here with more knowledge will chime in though. What gears did you have stock again? No matter what you will love them, my gears and posi woke the car up a ton, and thats just judging by half throttle experiences right now lol

I went from open 3.08s to 3.42s w/lsd, I cant wait!
I didnt think there was anything really that I needed to do, but on their site it said something about a security relearn and a CASE relearn, not really sure how to do either though, or if there even necessary, that really the info Im looking for.

i swapped in a '94 pcm before. I did it with the battery unhooked (not sure if that matters or not). Other than that, just plug in, slide in, bolt in and it started right up
that should be all you need. they do every thing else like spark, and get rid of torque management, so unless you have done anything else that should be enough. i had travis tune mine, it realy woke it up just getting rid of torque management and the extra spark. then add gears and you should have fun.
Just talked with them, they were out of stock, wont ship out to me till the end of the week, Im swapping rears tomorrow because its the only day I can do it, guess my speedo will be off a little bit for a few days.
