Well.. my driver side has been out for about 2 weeks now...and plan on replacing both motors when I get my check

Are the ebay window motors any good? I dont want to get a cheap one and have it die on me within a few days

    any suggestions?

E-BAY parts are pretty much after market parts or parts from other cars i would look up your year and see if you can get one from a salvaged car

I got mine from the dealer (well, the guy I bought it from did, I just did the replacing.) He overpaid, summit has them cheaper and that come with what looks to be better hardware. Good luck . . . that was the first blood my baby drew from me. Literally.

They are junk on all the Fbodies. I'm lucky the week before I bought my car the guy got them replaced at the dealership. The driver's side was starting to act up so he just replaced both of them.

If you do it right the first time, it's not difficult to change them. Check out the how-to over at projecttransam.com It's got pictures of where to drill to provide easy access to the rivets. Very easy to do, swapped mine in 30 minutes.

I highly reccomend the www.autotrix.com window rewire kit, at the same time. I installed my kit today, some parts were a bit tricky, but what isnt on fourth gens? really speeds up the passenger window and is supposed to help with its longevity
