Stuttering...

This made me mad today. This happened once a couple weeks ago, but to solve the problem i just let the car sit for awhile and it went away but not this time. All things are fine when I'm just cruising in my 3.8L Camaro, lightly stepping on the gas going from red light to red light. Things start going wrong when I step on it. I was going down the highway and I decide to gun it and well...it won't gun. It seems only when I give it some gas hardcore will it stutter and putter and lose all of its power. I replaced my plugs 13,xxx miles ago and I'm not sure what it could be.

plug wires on tight? does it sound like it's missing?

Can you try and give me a picture about what 'a miss' would sound like? I just checked the wires and they seem tight.

When is the last time you replaced your fuel filter and ran a good injector cleaner? Not that crap you buy at Autozone either. A true injector cleaner like GM uses.

To be honest....never, haha. When I got the car 2 years ago I replaced all the fluids and did changes and got a K&N air filter also changed the plugs. It came with a brand new battery and a new serpentine belt.

yep I would guess fuel filter, fuel pump or plugged cats
