In my old 93 LT1 I put a piece of 90 degree angle rain gutter where the shroud is to get to the parking lights. I cut a hole in it and ran it up.
Ask if you have any questions...I didn't get it dynoed or anything but it couldn't of hurt it any...2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Not an f-body... but last year in my vo-tech class... we dynoed a Thunderbird turbo coupe... Had the turbo off a big cummins...what he had done for an intake is got plastic PVC pipe... 3'' or 4'' and ran it down to below the car.... then was planning to take it and have it mandrel bent out of Stainless... That car built on a budget and sounded awesome on the dyno... Massive straight pipes you could hear the turbo wind up it was kick ass.
But thats an idea if you have room under the hood.. But if you still have all your emissions and AC good luck with that option.1989 Chevrolet Camaro- Currently in pieces...

Yea I was going to say PVC pipe too...I did that back in the day when I had my supercharged T-Bird, nice 4" piping...I'm sure it's better flow than a rain gutter, lol. Came off the air filter box and went down to the hole where the fog light was...It was nice too b/c they make a lid for the pipe for like drains or something and I put that on the end to keep as much debree out as I could. Worked great and cost maybe $10...custom ram air! lol98 Trans Am WS.6
