Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Ok iv been trying to do the resarch but i cant find much. im thinking about doing something with one of the gen 3 truck engines. like the lq4 and lq9. What others are there and how compatible are they with lsx parts?
I would like aluminum block but a iron would be ok.
im pretty shure the l92/l76 are aluminum heads and i thought the others were to but i havent been paying attetion to truck engines untill now so i don't know
ok next question:
I love ls1's but i also love the 93-97 camaro body style what is involved in swapping a gen 3/4 engine in there? besides the obvious things like mounts and pcm
well thats obvious im good with electrical crap so thats not a problem, im just buying a lt1 camaro soon and i wanted to know if i could swap a ls in there later if i wish
Id hold off and get an ls1 and swap pannels, ls1 = better electronics & gauges, way better brakes, better interior, and not to mention the engine. Youd need a hood, bumper, fenders, light brackets and some other small stuff. All that should be easily found a junk yards and have to be painted.
