    Hello Everyone...
I just thought I would warn all of you about Livernois. This is my experience thus far with them...

Took my car in the day I finished her to get a dyno tune done. Got there at about 3pm and they took it and tuned it...hit 441 hp and 400 trq.

Drove it home and it ran like crap...it was fast, but it idled like shit and would stall out. So I called them up the next day and was like, wtf? Well, I guess I didn't realize it, but they actually stop working on cars at like 3:30, so they stayed late...till 7pm to finish it up...awesome...but they advertise that they are open till 7...how was I supposed to know?!? So, I took it back so they can finish the tune.

Over a week later after many delays saying they've been "working" on it and its getting "better" I get it back about 5 days AFTER they said they would have it done. SO, i go back there all happy thinking i'm getting back my car that is finished. I get in, back out of my spot, and it stalls....WTF?!?!

I go back in and am like, alright, my car just stalled when i back out, I thought you guys fixed the problem? He then proceeded to tell me that they spent hours on it, even "tuned on the fly" with the laptop in the car trying to impress me...whatever... Scott, then just told me that it was the cam that I put in, and its the reason that my car won't run right. He said a LSA of 112 will cause all sorts of problems and that I should probably put in a different cam so and it will run better....once again...whatever...

Finally, I decided to just get EFILive and do the shit myself. SO, curious as to what they actually "tuned" i downloaded their tune and compared it with the stock one.....amazingly I found out

    THEY DIDN'T TUNE ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was completely shocked to see the only things they changed were my flwo rates for my injectors.....which by the way they didn't even calibrate them properly...probably why i was running rich. They molested a bunch of idle tables that they didn't need to mess with and added a spark advance and that was IT!

They didn't do ANYTHING needed to tune a cammed car, which includes recalibrating the VE tables....nice work LIVERNOIS. I would highly suggest that no body go there for their tunes...

    What a waste of 622 dollars....I'm pissed

    Adrian

IM SORRY TO SAY BUT.... I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!

I have heard nothing but shitty stories of crap they have blown up and screwed up.... i believe in an older post someone asked about tuning and i suggest Wheel 2 Wheel... it only took them a few hours and i stood there on the dyno and watched the guy do the whole thing... no suprises cause i saw it all getting done!!..plus my tune at Wheel 2 Wheel was $595 and well worth it...sorry that you got shafted, but i said i would never go there and THAT'S WHY!!! too bad it took your bad experience to find this out

Well, there are a couple places over here on the west side of the state but I've never heard anything about them. So when I upgrade from my HPP3 I'll either be getting HPtuners and doing it myself, or be driving over maybe to wheel 2 wheel from the sounds of it. Sorry about your luck man....

where in waterford??? Waterford is the next town over from me, and the only place i know of in waterford is a place called "Nelsons Performance" and they are a mustang shop with a DynoJet Dyno..... i didn't know they do carb work, if that's the place you are talking about.

i know that they will let anyone use their dyno to tune themselves though!....my friend did the tuning on his '90 Jetta Turbo there and a ton of his friends from the "VW community" go there. if this is the place you're talking about (Nelsons Perf.) they are a pretty cool little shop from what i've heard...only thing is they are a mustang shop

Davison is over by Flint according to the map. We're in Grand Rapids.
