  • sub frame connectors (Help)

I'm buying Joel's spare rear end and I was thinking when I have that swapped, I might as well have sub frame connectors put in. This all done before I have the front end alignment. So I need opinions please. I know weld in are better but for now I'm leaning toward bolt ons because I had the car undercoated last summer and that would have to be removed before welding and my carpet and Dynamat liner would have to come up. To time consuming in the labor department as I'm guessing it would take several hours to put weld ins on the car; thus more expense. And I know I can have the bolt ons welded later.
I've been reading around and am leaning toward Spohn tubular bolt ons and I wouldn't loose and ground clearance with these either.
So opinions please...what would you recommend and are there any other places that sell for less or have better service etc. ?
Oh and please keep in mind that I probably don't drive my car like most guys would. That wasn't meant to be a sexist remark. I guess I mean I don't take the car to the track and I don't do donuts and burnouts or street race. I just get a little feisty with it occasionally but nothing major.

most people on here will recommend weld ins, bolts loosen over time. If you have a shop weld in the sfc it shouldnt cost you too much. and i would recommend buying from GVVS because travis is having a special free shipping this month. he sells the umi line which is very good quality

I have the UMI 3 point bolt ins. With they way they fit you shouldn't need to remove anything on the interior to weld them in. Where they mount is far enough from the floor pan it shouldn't transfer enough heat to cause anything to burn. I want to get mine welded in because the rear spring perch where they fit over squeak. I've tightened the bolts several times and it still squeaks some.

I went to the GVVS website and looked at them. I won't loose any ground clearance will I?

Nope. The Y pipe is still the lowest part on my car. These tuck up real nice and stiffen up the car over the crappy MI roads. Now the suspension does the work and not the body twisting.

I always thought it was the bold holes stretching out not so much the bolts loosening up. But I don't think it would matter anyways as you can just weld them if it becomes a problem.
